Golf Great Hal Sutton Makes a Comeback with the Champions Tour

Previous PGA star Hal Sutton is testing the water in his limited come back, starting with the Champions Tour at the Allianz Championship Tournament in Boca Raton, Florida. The tournaments venue is located at the Old Course at Broken Sound. Last years defending champion is Scott Hoch, who took home the first place prize of $247,500.

Hal took some three years off back in 2006 to pursue his desire to design a championship golf course, with that dream coming to life recently in Fredericksburg, Texas called Boot Ranch Golf Course. Its grassy knolls, natural spring fed lakes and streams intertwine a beautiful luxury golf community on approximately 2,000 acres of Texas Hill Country property.

Hal Sutton holds title to 14 PGA victories including wins over other famous world class players such as Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods. He is a past Ryder Cup Champion as well as a successful Ryder Cup Captain back in 2004. Mr. Sutton is a proven world class player who brings talent and integrity to the game we all love so much. Hal is a great asset, showman and winner utilizing unique style and class in his quest to compete on the Champions Tour. We also appreciate his talents and character that he brings on this next journey to that tour. We wish him great success and prosperity as he continues his goal in search of his next title on the Champions Tour.
